Terms of Use
Effective October 5, 2026
1. Who these terms are between
These terms apply to your use of the Healthy Tray mobile app and website, published by Healthy Tray. By signing in or using the service you agree to them.
Healthy Tray is provided to hospitals. If your hospital has a separate agreement with us, that agreement governs where it differs from these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
2. Your account
Accounts are issued by your hospital’s administrator. There is no public sign-up. You must be at least 18 and authorized by your hospital to use the service.
- Keep your password private. Do not share your account.
- Tell your administrator and us at support@healthytray.com if you think someone else has used your account.
- Your hospital can suspend or remove your account. We can suspend an account to protect the service or the people whose information it holds.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- look at patient information you have no work reason to see;
- copy, share or photograph patient information outside the service except as your hospital’s policies allow;
- try to get around access controls, probe the service for weaknesses, or interfere with how it runs;
- upload anything unlawful or harmful, or anything that is not a photograph of a meal tray or a patient wristband.
4. Clinical use
Healthy Tray supports the work of qualified staff. It does not give medical advice and does not replace professional judgment.
The AI analysis of a tray photograph is a proposal. It can be wrong. A staff member must review it, and you are responsible for what you accept and record. Check any figure before you act on it.
5. Ownership
The hospital keeps its rights in the patient information it enters. The app, website and their design belong to Healthy Tray and its licensors. You may use them only as these terms allow.
6. Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided “as is.” We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
To the extent the law allows, Healthy Tray is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Any limit on liability between your hospital and us is set in the hospital’s agreement.
7. Changes and ending
We may update these terms. The new version is posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept it.
You can stop using the service at any time by signing out.
